Progress in 4th Nov 2019, testing. The critical thing is the trimpot bias should be adjusted to get an IDQ at 1.7 to 2.0 amps for BLF 578. Other LDMOS such as BLF188XR 1 amp is suggested according to data sheet.
First time launching use in Oceania SSB DX Contest 6th Oct 2019, High Power All Band Single Operator 500W based on license permitted as an Advanced.
During the test, input by RTTY with 10db attenuation into the amplifier using an Icom 718.
